DonorSnap is integrated with Stripe for payment processing in the Responsive Forms tool. Stripe is our preferred payment processor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nonprofit Payment Processing Fee Rates<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Visa, MasterCard, & Discover: 2.2% + $.30 transaction fee|
American Express: 3.5% + $.30 transaction fee
ACH: 0.8% capped at $5.00

When using the integration, DonorSnap charges a $10\/month Integration fee that will be added to your following monthly bill or invoiced for annual subscriptions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Setting Up Your Stripe Account<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Whether you already have an existing Stripe account or not, you’ll need to initiate the connection from within DonorSnap. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. In DonorSnap, go to Maintenance > Site Setup > Integrations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. In the Payment Processing tab, choose the sub-tab “Stripe”<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Click the +Add New Stripe Account button<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Follow the steps in Stripe to set up your new account or to log in and select an existing Stripe account<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. After completing the Stripe side, you’ll be sent back to DonorSnap.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Click the edit icon on the left of the new Account ID and give the account a name, typically your organization’s name.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Click the Validate button to check the status of your Stripe account. If your account is not ready yet, you’ll see a message asking you to wait a few minutes and then try again. If after a few minutes the account is still unable to validate when pressing the button, you may need to click the Finish Setup button and supply Stripe with additional information to complete your application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Once your account is validated, you’ll see “Yes” in the Is Valid column and a date in the Validation Date field. Now you are ready to build your online donation forms.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Apply for Nonprofit Rates<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Your Stripe account is ready to use right away, but it will take about a week to apply and be granted the nonprofit rates. All payments processed before that time will use the standard Stripe rate, and the nonprofit rates will not be retroactively applied to already made donations. Read more on Stripe.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
