Creating a new Facebook page tab out of a DonorSnap Form is easy enough that any user can implement it. Whether you feel your organization could benefit from a \u201cDonate Now\u201d Facebook tab, a \u201cJoin our Mailing List\u201d tab, an \u201cEvent Sign Up\u201d tab, or more, follow the step by step guide below. In a matter of minutes, your Facebook page will have an integration with your DonorSnap database.<\/p>\n

Step One: Create your form<\/strong><\/h3>\n

If you\u00a0aren\u2019t\u00a0already using DonorSnap for your donor management, you\u2019ll need to sign up for an account first. After you\u2019re signed up, you\u2019ll be ready to create any number of forms that you need. For more help on creating your forms,\u00a0watch the online forms tutorial video here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Step Two: Sign up to be a \u201cFacebook Developer\u201d<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In order to create your own Facebook Page Tab App, you\u2019ll need to be granted access to the developer area. Don\u2019t worry if this sounds scary. Just keep following the directions and you\u2019ll find it foolproof. You can also brag to your friends that you have developed a Facebook app for your organization.<\/p>\n

To sign up, go to\u00a0https:\/\/developers.facebook.com<\/a>\u00a0and click the button in the top right corner as shown below. Follow the prompts and verify your account.<\/p>\n

Step Three: Create Your Facebook Tab App<\/strong><\/h3>\n

After you are verified, you\u2019ll need to go to\u00a0https:\/\/developers.facebook.com\/apps<\/a>\u00a0to start creating your tab app. Click the \u201c+ Create New App\u201d button at the top of the screen and continue through the prompts confirming that you accept the guidelines and that you are human.<\/p>\n

Next you\u2019ll see the app creation form and your App ID on top. Make sure to note this number, because you\u2019ll need it in the next step. Click the Page Tab check mark and fill out the form with your information. Make sure to fill out the following fields as directed:<\/p>\n
