When making changes outside of DonorSnap, keep in mind that you will also need to update your records inside of DonorSnap as well. For example, if you refund a transaction in your payment processor’s system, the donation record will still exist in DonorSnap. You will need to find the donation record and delete it to make sure that your records are accurate.<\/p>\n

Refunds using Stripe<\/h2>\n

Cancel a payment that has not finished processing or refund a finalized payment by logging in to the Stripe dashboard. From the Payments page, find the payment you want to cancel and then click the 3 dots icon on the far right. Choose Cancel Payment or Refund Payment, then select a reason, and submit it. Refunds using goEmerchant<\/h2>\n
